BioGeometric Integration

BGI is the philosophy that guides Dr. Diane's work. It is a philosophy developed by Dr. Sue Brown who has taught BGI at chiropractic colleges all over the world. Bio means life. We are working with the forces of life within us. Geometric shapes lay like a map within our body that guide us to where the stress is stored. Integration brings all of the pieces together to form the whole. An adjustment is the chiropractic technique used to bring the body back into balance.

Imagine that you hold a geodesic dome in your hands and you press down on it.  Rather than breaking, the stress of the incoming force is distributed across the whole structure.  Buckminster Fuller became famous for showing how this type of integration, called tensegrity, yields great strength.  Our bodies are like this in many ways.  A single stress does not break us (thankfully). Instead our whole system is able to bear the burden and may store it in a geometric pattern.  BGI uses this understanding of the body to release your burdens and help your inner vitality to spring back.

Unlike other forms of chiropractic, BGI helps us work with your whole system, so that healing occurs quickly and your system learns a new way of being. Dr. Diane performs gentle adjustments to bring your whole system into harmony.

Thus in BGI, we work to unleash your life force using the geometry as a guide and integrating the challenges in life.  To learn more visit Dr. Sue Brown's website.
